First Friday in the Village Continues May 1

The Joseph N. Goff House is pleased to present "First Fridays in the Village" on May 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will be offered every first Friday of the month, during which participating Village Center businesses and organizations on and near Main Street will offer special exhibits, presentations or performances.
Planned activities on May 1 will include the Belltown Garden Club’s family gardening event at the Center School Gazebo starting at 5:30 p.m.; Open Studio at The Space, 62 Main St.; An exhibit of nature photos by 9-year-old Nathan Rees, Old Bank Flowers, Art & Marketplace, 66 Main St.; Open Jam/Open Mic and art exhibit by Connecticut artists titled “Color Me Blue” sponsored by Hearts, Hands and Homes Community Collaborative in Partnership with The Department of Children and Families, 6 p.m., Higher Grounds Coffee Shop, 70 Main St.; A Spring/Mother’s Day craft activity, board games and face painting with the East Hampton High School Interact Club, Joseph N. Goff House Museum, 2 Barton Hill Road; Wine tasting featuring selections provided by Worldwide Wines, Center Package Store, 93 Main St.,4-6 p.m.; A new art exhibit featuring local artists, Creations Framing & Gallery, 95 Main St.; Free guitar string inspection, Black Cat Music, 95 Main St.; First Friday Dinner Special for Two including 2 beef curry rolls, veggie fried rice and crispy shrimp with honey glazed walnuts for $25,Po’s Rice and Spice, 81 Main St.
