First Friday in the Village Continues April 3


 

The Joseph N. Goff House is pleased to present "First Fridays in the Village" on April 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will be offered every first Friday of the month, during which participating Village Center businesses and organizations on and near Main Street will offer special exhibits, presentations or performances.
Planned activities on April 3 will include: an art exhibit featuring the work of Carla Waclawski at The Space, 64 Main St.; A photography exhibit featuring the work of Joyce Fidrych at Old Bank Flowers, Art & Marketplace, 66 Main St.; A Crab Cake Dinner Special, locally made Easter Basket Sale and an Open Jam and Open Mic starting at 6 p.m. at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop, 70 Main St.; Bingo and a spring planting activity for families at the Joseph N. Goff House Museum, 2 Barton Hill Road; Wine tasting with selections provided by New England Wine at Center Package Store, 93 Main St.,5 p.m.; Paint Night at Epoch Arts, 27 Skinner St., 6 to 9 p.m., for kids in grades 6 and up who may choose from a variety of mediums to paint while listening to cool music. Po’s Rice & Spice, 97 Main St. , will offer a First Friday Dinner Special for Two -two vegetable spring rolls, Yum Yum Fish and Shrimp Fried Rice for $25.Area shops will be open for business, hope to see you there!
