The weather looks perfect for tonight's Joseph N. Goff House Concert featuring The Kenn Morr Band performing a laid back brand of folksy-Americana!
Music starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Center School Gazebo in the East Hampton Village Center.
Bring a picnic, chairs and a blanket and enjoy! Cub Scouts Pack 8 will sell snacks and water. Thank you Congregational Church of East Hampton for providing bathrooms and rain day backup!
Additional shows include Bill Naughton Jr, performing original country folk, rock and ballads with meaningful lyrics on Aug. 1 and The Survivors Swing Band performing classic melodies from an era gone by, hot tunes and soothing ballads of the Swing Era on Aug. 8.

Goff House Concerts Return on July 18

The Joseph N. Goff House Concert Series returns this Thursday, July 18 with a performance by Classified dance band!
All concerts are free and held at 6:30 p.m. at the Center School Gazebo in the East Hampton Village Center. Bring a picnic, chairs and a blanket and enjoy! Each week members of the Joseph N. Goff House board of directors will be collecting donations for a different local charity or organization and the local Cub Scouts Pack 8 will sell snacks. Thank you Congregational Church of East Hampton for providing bathrooms and rain day backup!

Larry Gareau performing familiar tunes and original music in a lyrical jazz style on June 20, Big Deal Rock performing covers of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and current sounds of today on June 27, Classified dance band on July 18, The Kenn Morr Band performing a laid back brand of folksy-Americana on July 25, Bill Naughton Jr, performing original country folk, rock and ballads with meaningful lyrics,  Aug. 1, Survivors Swing Band performing classic melodies from an era gone by, hot tunes and soothing ballads of the Swing Era on Aug. 8.

Donors Sought for Annual Gazebo Concert Series

The Joseph N. Goff House seeks individuals, local businesses and organizations to help sponsor the annual Joseph N. Goff House Gazebo Music Series, which takes place five Thursdays during the summer at the Center School Gazebo in the East Hampton Village Center. Sponsors will be listed by donations level, Soprano and Alto, $150 and $75; Tenor, $50; Bass, $25 in promotional materials and posters displayed around town and handed out at concerts. The Joseph N. Goff House Board Thanks Sponsors, Bands and Audience Members

Another Joseph N. Goff House Gazebo Concert Series has been completed this summer, which included six, free, Thursday night concerts at the Center School Gazebo in the East Hampton Village Center. Members of the Goff House Board of Directors would like to thank all the talented bands who provided music, rain or shine, and the faithful audience members who turned out to enjoy the shows together. 

Donations by audience members during the half time basket collection resulted in monetary donations that have been  distributed to Cub Scout Pack 8, The East Hampton High School Music Department, Lydia's Closet, The East Hampton Ambulance Association and The Congregational Church of East Hampton. 

Without the support and sponsorship of many local residents, organizations and businesses, the concert series could not continue. Since the series began 21 years ago, The Congregational Church of East Hampton has been open to concert goers for bathroom use and a rain location. Cub Scout Pack 8 members and leaders sell snacks and beverages as a fundraiser for their activities and initiatives. Belltown Graphics produced the design for the 2018 concert publicity posters and post cards, which included artwork created by the late Katherine Berlin, provided by her husband Robert Berlin.

The East Hampton Arts & Culture Commission's To Host Artist Open House 9/22

Save the date! The East Hampton Arts & Culture Commission's invites East Hampton area artists to an open house on Saturday, Sept. 22 to share ideas and learn more about the commission's annual Open Studio planned for Saturday, Oct. 28. The Sept. 22 Open House will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Joseph N. Goff House Museum, 2 Barton Hill Road. Artists who do not have a studio available to open to the public are welcome to attend to learn about exhibiting options during the event. arts@easthamptonct.org for information.
